Silence

Last summer, my old brother wanted me to go to the fishing trip with him and he had been planning out this trip for a year. I was ready for the biggest day of my fishing life and I was so excited too.  It was like sun on my face. I was preparing my mind the night before because we had turned it into a big fishing tournament between my older brother and me.

The alarm exploded out of the stillness and quietness of night. I looked at the alarm and it was 7:30, which was way too early. My older brother had been up since 3:00 a.m. like a night owl because he was excited too.

He told me get up and get ready and this would be one of the best fishing trips we’ve ever had. Last time I went on a fishing trip with my dad and it wasn’t good. It' s like lost it’s magic for me.

I get up and eat my breakfast normally, then my brother comes running in and shouts “Let’s go!” in my ear as loud as powerful thunder. I jump in the front seat of his car.  It was freezing cold and we were on our way to Howsgol, Mongolia, which is a countryside that has one of the biggest oceans in Mongolia.  In winter time it is very cold, like living in the fridge.  The temperature is probably about -35°C to -40°C, which is freezing cold.

Finally we arrive Moron Ocean in Howsgol. We make a huge hole on top of the ice and my brother and me drop the hook out into an  ice hole. I could feel the weight and the hook sinking down to the floor of the Ocean.  After that I heard my brother saying “Now all we gotta do is wait!!” and it was his last sentence. We make a hot coffee and make ourselves comfortable, the sun came out from the dark clouds and it was very shiny and it’s seems to me like the sun glared down at me from the sky. We were staring at the frozen ocean and the icebergs which was looks amazing .  We didn’t talk until we caught fish after an hour.
