Conquering Mountains

The mountains surround us as they sunbathe in the fiery sun and the harsh cold air creates an atmosphere to be alive. Their sharp jagged edges stand in the distance ancient. They lather themselves with sunscreen for the many years they remain on our earth only to get smaller over thousands of years. I entered our universe small with an incapability to take care of myself and soon I may die many years later shrunk back down unable to live without assistance. Although mountains live as a mass of compact land until the tectonic plates decide to shift and create these huge barriers who slowly sunburn to fine fairy dust we hold in our palms.

A peak towers above and beyond my intelligent brain, out of reach in the distance, as I see a bar I want to jump up and grab hold  what we think we could conquer. We as humans have this urge to see a challenge and fight to accomplish reaching this peak bigger than ourselves. Although some of us don't realize a challenge is set for us to accomplish until later in our life but we will find it. Once we see our hurdle we will jump right over, with some sweat and tears dripping down our face, only to make our existence worth living. The brave mountains lie flat on our earth eroding but at the same time they strip us to threads and turn us inside out to reveal our internal organs. They show our hearts so our love can be plugged into an outlet of love. We see our mind to remember our existence. They open our chest to see the lungs living with a breath we inhale and exhale for a presence.

We our only our own mountain under lying under the scorching sun absorbing golden rays of magnificent magic potion. An umbrella of indigo night lies over the mountains rejuvenating their exhaustion. As their dirty faces dream restless under the twinkling stars. The moon pulls them with gravity, so their rusting faces can praise with gratitude and strength for the reflections of the past hurdles in the twinkling stars. These mountains our shaded by the dark night but at the same time they provide shade for us. Our moon moves our blood with waves to crash and fall but to reach new heights.

As the warmth soaks into my skin dissolving every sin I stand alive. Then I drip, drip, drip with a salty tear like substance as if I was a punching bag being physically beaten down yet I still remain. My feet bare on the earth allows me to grab my existence and fight for the invisible rocky mountain ahead of me. I fight for power within myself soaking every ounce of the golden remedy of the sun as my biggest battle lies in the same place gulping this magical substance. I will dance in the light as will my the eroding mountain life gives me.
